Sunday mornings children start off at the worship service and are released to Sunday School at 9:45 until the service has ended.
We use Northpoint Industries, Up Street programming to connect big ideas with children in a practical and fun way. Children begin in the scheduled 9:30 AM worship service with their families, so that they are introduced to the structure and practice of a Methodist church service. They get to know or recognize other members of the congregation as they develop those skills that later will help them spiritually connect with God while coming together with other Christians and attending a worship service.
During the “Children’s Time”, annotated in the weekly church bulletin and announced during the service, all children are invited to join the Pastor on the stage for a personal, age-appropriate message or special programming. After “Children’s Time”, children are invited to go to the elementary education classrooms with their teachers. This program is operated every Sunday morning from approximately 9:45 – 10:30 AM or until the completion of the scheduled congregational service, whichever is later.
