Planning a Trip/What Can I Expect
Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Woodstock United Methodist Church a great one!
Our service is in the sanctuary at 9:30 a.m. and for those who feel more comfortable worshiping online, we will be streaming that service through Facebook at the same time.

What can I expect?
How long is a Church Service?
Our normal service is approximately 60 minutes. The first Sunday of the month may go a little bit longer as we celebrate Communion together as a Church family. Some Sundays we may go a few minutes longer and some Sundays we may get out a few minutes early. There is usually coffee and a light snack in the fellowship hall for everyone to enjoy!
What’s the culture like at Woodstock United Methodist Church?
Sunday’s at Woodstock United Methodist Church are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
What about my kids?
Our ministry for children begins in the nursery (birth through 2 years of age), with Sunday School for children age three through 5th grade. Sunday School students begin the morning with their families in the sanctuary for the first 15 minutes, and are then dismissed for their Sunday School time in their classrooms. However, Children are always welcome to stay with their parents during service if they are more comfortable with them!
